What
a hard-earned achievement! Recently, my boyfriend and I are house-sitting for
two weeks. Why? My sister and brother in-law together with closely related
relatives took a vacation to France, Turkey and Spain.

We
were left with a naughty Yorkshire terrier (Snacks), a prim and proper princess
cat (Nala), a house with 12 rooms and an empty fridge. Keeping up with feeding
the animals, making the beds, making breakfast, lunch and dinner, washing
dishes, hosting guests, doing the washing, maintaining proper hygiene and
balancing work and relationships is a very tricky situation.

I
learnt that by living an organised and well balanced life could enhance your
sense of independence. It will also allow you not to forget the potato wedges
you left in the oven two hours ago... oops!
