Cowboys DO NOT cry

This was the way I was raised and throughout generations, this saying was kept within the family. Being strong and fearless with a warm and soft heart are characteristics my grandfather taught us.

The Xhosa people called him Peacemaker. In his time, he was a police officer- the good kind where he helped people regardless of their belief systems and the colour skin they owned. He was a brave and intelligent man, a hero not only to his family, but to others as well. He created harmony within the hearts of thousands.

Within the years I have known him, he never cried. He held his head up high and left behind big shoes to fill. I still want to make him proud, thus I try to stay strong and stand behind his motto: Cowboys DO NOT cry, they create peace instead.
